  • Canterbury Breastfeeding Advocacy Service

    Breastfeeding advocacy is about helping to remove the barriers to breastfeeding. The Canterbury Breastfeeding Advocacy Service oversees a range of initiatives to influence positive changes in our local community.

    Find breastfeeding support, information, breastfeeding peer counsellor training, information about and for breastfeeding friendly workplaces, and local breastfeeding friendly cafés.

  • PIPS: Pregnancy Infancy Parenting Support

    Providing free, non-judgmental, client-focused practical and emotional support during pregnancy and early parenting.

    PIPS provides support in many ways, such as breastfeeding support, referrals to relevant services, courses, parent groups, clothing, equipment and car seat support. PIPS rely on professionally trained staff, volunteers and donations, so all services are subject to availability.
